This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass or change accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
28066 Possible Causes:
28066 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28066 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
