Accumulated in electronic control units so secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit open and ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28048 Possible Causes:
28048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28048 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
