When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank . So for next exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
28046 Possible Causes:
28046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28046 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
