Staring in engine fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
28039 Possible Causes:
28039 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28039 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
