Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm and wait then fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
28038 Possible Causes:
28038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28038 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
