28029 Description And Summary :

Diagnosing engine bar with shift up/down wire, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low or exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault.

28029 Possible Causes:

28029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 28029 Code

  • Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
