This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control module, performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible . So for next exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
28028 Possible Causes:
28028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 28028 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
