Staring in engine control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit or change exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit is the final reason of the code. |
28022 Possible Causes:
28022 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28022 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
