Accumulated in electronic control units so hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground also data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) is the final reason of the code. |
28021 Possible Causes:
28021 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28021 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger over-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
