Staring in engine engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle angle signal stuck on also intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
28017 Possible Causes:
28017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28017 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
