Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal you can see the catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
28017 Possible Causes:
28017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28017 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
