The problem is about fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start controller pin coding, implausible signal . On the other hand direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
28016 Possible Causes:
28016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28016 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
