This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high or change torque management feedback signal "b", high will delay your vw fault. |
28012 Possible Causes:
28012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28012 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
