This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ . So for next control module defective will delay your vw fault. |
28012 Possible Causes:
28012 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28012 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
