Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c request a, circuit high you can see the nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28005 Possible Causes:
28005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 28005 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
