28001 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction or o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
28001 Possible Causes:
28001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28001 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
