This code were stamped on VW Engine case throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high and wait then bank 2, system too rich off idle is the final reason of the code. |
28001 Possible Causes:
28001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28001 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
