This something to do with the intake camshaft timing system too rich at higher load, bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 also control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature is the final reason of the code. |
19870 Possible Causes:
19870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 19870 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defect
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
