This something to do with the intake camshaft timing outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic also air leak between maf and throttle body is the final reason of the code. |
19870 Possible Causes:
19870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 19870 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
