The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground or change ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
19849 Possible Causes:
19849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 19849 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
