19790 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature you can see the barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault.

19790 Possible Causes:

19790 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 19790 Code

  • Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
