The problem is about intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply terminal 30, voltage too low . So for next throttle actuator control system, forced limited power will delay your vw fault. |
19721 Possible Causes:
19721 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 19721 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
