When you open system too rich at higher load, bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 also exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
19678 Possible Causes:
19678 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 19678 Code
- Inspect all the connections control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
