19638 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine cylinder 2 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached . So for next manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle is the final reason of the code. |
19638 Possible Causes:
19638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19638 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
