19603 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 9 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely and generator shut-off, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
19603 Possible Causes:
19603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 19603 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
