19504 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal stuck on or change pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
19504 Possible Causes:
19504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 19504 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
