Staring in engine charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low and park/neutral switch input circuit is the final reason of the code. |
19488 Possible Causes:
19488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 19488 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
