When you open ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor shift lock, short to ground or change exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
19488 Possible Causes:
19488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19488 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
