19431 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system starter interlock, circuit short to b+ and wait then clutch slip control, signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
19431 Possible Causes:
19431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 19431 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
