19420 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low you can see the powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
19420 Possible Causes:
19420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 19420 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
