19402 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start interference in mechatronic module or data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control is the final reason of the code. |
19402 Possible Causes:
19402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 19402 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
