This code were stamped on VW Engine case function restriction due to brake temperature it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic . So for next tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
19224 Possible Causes:
19224 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19224 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
