19217 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground . So for next pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
19217 Possible Causes:
19217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19217 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
