Diameter in engine accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
19217 Possible Causes:
19217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19217 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
