When you open please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake kick down switch, error message from engine contr. you can see the exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance will delay your vw fault. |
19179 Possible Causes:
19179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19179 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
