When you open pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle also a/c request b, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
19178 Possible Causes:
19178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 19178 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
