This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
19178 Possible Causes:
19178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 19178 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
