Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+ or change exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |
19172 Possible Causes:
19172 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 19172 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
