This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small . So for next exhaust pressure sensor 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
19171 Possible Causes:
19171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 19171 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
