19164 Possible Causes:
19164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 19164 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
