19099 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit you can see the glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault.

19099 Possible Causes:

19099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 19099 Code

  • Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
