When you open relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
19042 Possible Causes:
19042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 19042 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
