This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit or change please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
19004 Possible Causes:
19004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 19004 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
