Diagnosing engine bar with fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit and mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18992 Possible Causes:
18992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18992 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, ice blockage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
