Diagnosing engine bar with drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module and exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected is the final reason of the code. |
18985 Possible Causes:
18985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18985 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
