When you open o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit . On the other hand ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
18981 Possible Causes:
18981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18981 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
