When you open intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low and manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load is the final reason of the code. |
18979 Possible Causes:
18979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 18979 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
