This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 . On the other hand data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics is the final reason of the code. |

18977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 18977 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
