Staring in engine ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction or nox sensor bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
18970 Possible Causes:
18970 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18970 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
