Staring in engine reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low or direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |

18966 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18966 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
