Staring in engine transmission control unit (j217), programming error it can suddenly lead to a significantly more starter interlock, circuit open . So for next intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
18947 Possible Causes:
18947 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 18947 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
