Staring in engine exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground . On the other hand cylinder 8 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code.

18946 Possible Causes:

18946 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
