Diameter in engine o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground or change ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
18938 Possible Causes:
18938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 18938 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
