The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, implausible message of the a/c control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ and pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
18937 Possible Causes:
18937 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 18937 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
