When you open butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

18923 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 18923 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
