The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground . On the other hand fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
18921 Possible Causes:
18921 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 18921 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
