Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
18914 Possible Causes:
18914 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 18914 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a"
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
